Building the Future Safely

Composite Profiles put site-safety first for all our operations and we are justifiably proud of our long unblemished safety record.

Our experienced and highly trained site teams operate to the very highest of Safety Standards, regularly reviewing new regulations and adopting best practice recommendations.

Accredited Investors in People Gold Status and CHAS Best Practice in Health and Safety, we ensure that our safety activities streamline effectively with other contractors on site protecting all operatives not just our own.

Simply put, we deliver first-class solutions from office to site safely.

Safety Standards

As a family firm and less corporate than others, we believe that whilst this does not compromise on our professional approach of service, it makes our clients feel more at home and comfortable doing business with us.

Safety Netting

Safety Netting as a Standard

At Composite Profiles, we adhere to best practice safety procedures. We believe wholeheartedly in our responsibility to respect the health and wellbeing of our people and those who work on site alongside our teams.

As a standard, we request that all deck flooring and roofing installations are safeguarded by the employment of safety netting. All our safety nets are manufactured in line with BS EN 1263-1: 2002 and installed in accordance with BS EN 1263-2: 2002.

“When you’re 20 storeys high with no fixed sides except safety netting, you are really exposed and need to rely on your team 100%. It is literally life critical. We consider a strong team culture to be a crucial element of our business not just a nice soft skill to have.”

Mark Norton, Managing Director, Composite Profiles.

Operating at Height Safely

Construction sites are inherently dangerous places and our site teams operate at significant heights exposed to the elements. Our focus on safety and a strong culture are crucial in protecting the lives of not just our team but other sub-contractors on site too.

Accredited by CHAS (best practice in Health and Safety), our site installation teams are always professional, approachable and undergo regular training. Largely self-managed, they are often commended for their performance, and have received several ‘perfect delivery’ and ‘best supervisor on construction site’ awards.

Building Trust through Training

All Composite Profiles’ site operatives have undertaken job-specific training to ensure safe operation of specialist equipment and effective implementation of on-site health & safety procedures.

Our teams are regularly upskilled to ensure our working practices comply with new regulations and best practice recommendations. They hold the following safety certifications:
