The Stanza Building, Uxbridge

Over 8,000m2 of ComFlor® 60, together with 850m2 of RoofDek® 100 have been supplied and installed by Composite Profiles to create The Stanza Building.

Located in Uxbridge town centre, The Stanza Building is only a few minutes walk from the London underground station.  It also provides excellent road communications, access to the rail network and is only 5 miles from Heathrow Airport.

To enable the overall programme to progress smoothly, Project Manager, Joel Nurser explains that ‘Composite Profiles worked closely with McLaren Construction to ensure that specific areas and levels were completed on time to enable following trades to progress efficiently.  This included hiring a Genie Z135/70 MEWP which enabled us to access up to the Fourth Floor level.  This impressive machine was used by our highly skilled and trained operatives to allow the programme to be achieved safely.’

The close relationship with Tata Steel enabled Composite Profiles to install the D100 structural roof decking to the highest level, together with over 8,000m2 of ComFlor® 60 to five floors below.

The resulting building is designed to achieve a ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rating with efficient and flexible Grade A office space incorporating:
