Comprehensive on-site safety procedures, training and equipment

Composite Profiles are commited to safety at all levels within the organisation. This culture is reflected by our CHAS Accredited status, together with our support of the CSCS scheme.  Full training is provided to all members of our team which has gained our Investors in People status.

Site operatives training

Roof decking installationComposite Profiles put site-safety first for all of our operations and we are justifiably proud of our long unblemished safety record.  All site operatives have undertaken job-specific training to ensure safe operation of equipment and effective implementation of on-site health & safety procedures. We also ensure that other operatives are safeguarded from our operations and that all of our safety activities dovetail effectively with other contractors on site.

We regularly review all of our health & safety procedures and ensure our working practices comply with new regulations and recommendations.

Training includes:

  • Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) accreditation
  • Cartridge tools with installers trained by Hilti and/or Spit.
  • Abrasive wheels training.
  • Mobile Elevated Working Platform licenses (IPAF).
  • Our Safety Net Installers are FASET trained and approved.
  • Site Safety Supervisors Training Scheme (SSSTS).

Safety netting

Safety nettingAll Composite Profiles deck flooring and roofing installations are safeguarded by the employment of safety netting where possible.

Composite Profiles provides nationwide coverage operating teams of highly skilled operatives with many years’ experience of safety net installations.

 

 

Personnel safety netting is designed as a collective and passive fall arrest system that offers effective protection to a group of workers whilst working at height.

All safety nets are manufactured inline with BS EN 1263-1: 2002 and installed in accordance with BS EN 1263-2: 2002.
Composite Profiles employ highly skilled operatives with many years’ experience of safety netting installations.
