CELEBRATING 25 YEARS WITH 20 MEANINGFUL MILES!

We have come a long way as a business in the past 25 years; from our humble beginnings in Broadstone to our new 2000 sq ft offices in New Fields Business Park, Poole. Some of the team certainly went the extra mile and marked the occasion by walking 20 miles for our 25 years truely representing one of our new company values #BuildingTeamSpirit.

To mark the beginning of Composite Profiles’ 25 year celebrations, Sue Jones (Financial Controller) and Helen Clayton (Administrator) joined forces to plan, organise and embark on a 20 mile walk on Saturday 1st July 2017 starting at 7.15am at Flaghead, Poole, along the promenade, over the Sandbanks chain ferry,  along the sand (think of it as their own mini-marathon-des-sables!) up and over the hills visiting Swanage and Durlston, into Worth Matravers and then the final tough leg up to Corfe Castle! It was a challenge but they showed true commitment with their training and finished 9 hours and 39 minutes later!! Ouch!!

Whilst supporting each other all the way, Sue and Helen were fundraising for two personally-meaningful causes:

Helen was specifically walking for Forest Holme who aims to offer every adult in our community affected by a potentially life limiting illness equal access to the support and service they need, whenever and wherever they are, to enhance their quality of life.

Helen says, “I chose Forest Holme after visiting and seeing what a vital service they provide for the local community. I hope to raise enough money to make difference.”

Sue was specifically walking for Chloe and her family who face daily challenges due to her condition, impacted more so by the lack of government funding as there is little known about her condition. Sue is raising funds towards play equipment that will enhance Chloe’s quality of life.

Chloe’s family say “We would love for Chloe to experience sitting, walking and playing. Being able to enjoy the outside as a family this summer would be fantastic and this piece of equipment will give Joshua, Daniel and Chloe a place to play together.”
