INVESTORS IN PEOPLE GOLD STATUS

Investors in People Gold

The Gold Award was presented to Managing Director Mark Norton by Investors in People (IiP) in December 2016, following an in-depth assessment focusing on the outcome of confidential interviews with Composite Profiles personnel at all levels.

“I am of course delighted with the Gold Award which recognises the significant efforts we have invested, not only in setting high standards for our business practices, but also in actively supporting our office and site teams in their personal development,” said Mark. “This has undoubtedly impacted very positively in improved efficiency, much of which has been buoyed on by high morale and increased confidence within our teams. Feedback from the individual interviews has been very encouraging which is certainly rewarding for our management team.”

Central to Composite Profile’s recognition by IiP has been the company’s initiative ‘Building Excellence’, whereby a set of new high performance values was implemented and which resulted in outstanding team motivation throughout the organisation.

“We have made significant progress in building the business which would not have been possible without a highly-motivated team,” said Joel Nurser, Operations Director. “As well as working closely with individual team members to provide support and personal development, we have also implemented a recruitment plan to bring further skills and expertise into the business. This is already bringing significant benefits.”

Investors in People has for 25 years set the standard for people management throughout the world across all industries, with their rigorous assessment standard applied to the accreditation of 14,000 organisations internationally.

Recent research by IiP revealed that people management is pivotal to efficiency and that focusing on building and supporting a skilled and confident workforce has a significant impact on performance.

Referring to the research, Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People said: “This study provides the evidence that focusing on excellence in people management can lead to significant performance gains across sectors and for the economy as a whole.”
